New Life Christian Church is a Christ-centered, Restoration Movement church located in Chickasha, Oklahoma—a growing community just 30 minutes southwest of Oklahoma City. Since our founding in 1983, God has faithfully built a congregation that values biblical teaching, authentic relationships, and meaningful engagement with our community.
 

Today, we are a unified and outward-focused church experiencing steady growth, with a strong foundation and a clear desire to take our next steps forward. Through contemporary worship, intentional discipleship, active Life Groups, and thriving children’s and youth ministries, we are committed to helping people grow in faith and live out the mission of Jesus.
 

With expanded and recently updated facilities and a congregation eager to be led, New Life Christian Church is prayerfully seeking a Lead Pastor who is excited to build on what God has already done and to help shape what comes next—honoring God, serving others, and sharing the good news of His love.

OUR CHURCH

New Life Christian Church is a welcoming, relational congregation that values both biblical truth and outward-focused ministry. We believe the church is called to serve beyond its walls, and we actively engage our community through:​​

  • An annual Clothes for Compassion outreach

  • Community Thanksgiving Dinner for 650+

  • Ongoing efforts to care for families and individuals in need

  • A heart to reach the lost and grow disciples

Our worship includes high quality contemporary music, with ministries designed to serve children, youth, adults, and seniors. We offer active Life Groups throughout the week and intentionally invest in training our youth to love and serve God.
 

In recent years, God has blessed us with significant facility improvements, including:

  • A multipurpose gym/fellowship hall and kitchen (constructed in 2014)

  • A recently remodeled kids area

  • An adjoining house used for classrooms

  • Additional facilities including a bus barn and storage building

We believe our church is healthy, unified, and positioned for continued growth—with room to refine systems, develop leaders, and expand our impact.

With a strong foundation in place, we see meaningful opportunities to deepen discipleship, develop leaders, and reach more families in our community. We are eager to partner with a Lead Pastor who is excited to build for the future while honoring the core values that define who we are.

The Pastor we're seeking

In addition to meeting the biblical qualifications of an Elder, our next Lead Pastor will be someone who:

  • ​Is a strong, engaging preacher who communicates God’s Word with clarity and conviction

  • Is a gifted teacher and relational leader

  • Enjoys working with people inside and outside the church

  • Has a passion for reaching families and developing future leaders

  • Is energized by leading a church that is growing and full of opportunity

  • Values teamwork, accountability, and servant leadership

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

  • ​Shepherding and caring for the congregation

  • Preaching on Sunday mornings

  • Providing leadership and oversight to staff and volunteers

  • Partnering with the Elders in vision, direction, and administration

The Lead Pastor will provide oversight for a staff that includes:

  • ​A full-time Worship Leader / Media Director

  • Part-time Youth Minister

  • Part-time Children’s Ministry Coordinators

  • Church Secretary

  • Volunteer Ministry Leads

Qualifictions

Salary is commensurate with experience and skills.

  • College degree from a Christian college

  • Commitment to Restoration Movement principles

  • Passion for evangelism and disciple-making

  • Proven ministry experience and leadership ability

In the coming years, we see opportunities to:

 

  • Strengthen and multiply Life Groups to deepen relationships and spiritual formation

  • Further develop children’s and youth ministries to reach and retain young families

  • Equip and empower lay leaders for greater ownership and ministry impact

  • Clarify and cast vision for evangelism and outreach in a growing community

  • Refine systems and structures to support sustainable, long-term growth

 

Our facilities, staff structure, unified elder group, and congregational culture position us well for what lies ahead. We are financially stable, engaged in our community, and eager to partner with a Lead Pastor who brings spiritual maturity, relational leadership, and a heart to build.

 

This next season is not about reinventing who we are, but about building on what God has already established—honoring our history while moving forward with faith and purpose. We are seeking a Lead Pastor who is energized by opportunity, committed to discipleship, and excited to help guide New Life Christian Church into its next chapter of ministry.
